Pot Nets Communities Entrance
In 1677 The Duke of York transferred all of the lands between Herring Creek and Lingo Creek to William Burton. This land would later be what is now Long Neck Delaware. White House Beach was the first of the Mobile Home Communities built in Long Neck. The year was 1952. There are now more than a dozen mobile home communities located along long neck road in Millsboro Delaware and thousands and thousands of mobile and modular homes. Pot Nets (not pronounced Potsnet or Potsnets) is actually 6 different communities including Pot Nets Bayside, Lakeside, Seaside, Creekside, Coveside and Dockside. The Pot Nets Communities have the best amenities of any community on Long Neck Road. Fishermen can't beat the canal front homes in Mariners Cove MHC. Located on Rehoboth Bay they have easy access to great flounder fishing and the Atlantic Ocean by way of Massey's Landing and the Indian River Bay. Massey's Landing Mobile Home Community has some of the lowest lot rents in the area but the home prices tend to be rather expensive. Rehoboth Shores MHP and Bay City are lower cost alternatives to the Pot Nets communities with similar amenities. Want to own the land and never pay ground rent again? You can't beat The Pines at Long Neck. Prices start around $190,000
